Centrum för rättvisa is a foundation that fully relies on donations from individuals and other private foundations. Consequently, the foundation does not accept donations from the State or other state entities such as municipalities. Nor does the foundation accept donations from political parties or various interest groups such as trade unions or employer organisations.

The choice of cases is distinct from the collection of money, which means that one cannot pay the foundation to engage in a specific case. The foundation does not accept donations that are not compatible with the aims of the foundation and/or otherwise jeopardise the foundation’s independence.
In 2008, Centrum för rättvisa obtained around 4,9 million sek in donations.

Centrum för rättvisa is under the supervision of an organisation (Stiftelsen för insamlingskontroll) that guarantees that the collection of funds is conducted appropriately and that the funds reach the goal without unnecessary expenses.
